Hello future cook!

Happy Sky is very proud to announce the start of our very own cookery school. It is set launch on the 9th of October 2018. We are so excited to share our skills and knowledge with our friends, customers and anyone who has a love of food! We will be running an authentic bakery course and we will also be running an authentic Thai cookery course. Our Bakery in Shepherds Bush is well known as a truly authentic Japanese bakery. We are now going to offer the chance to learn from our award winning baker Motoko McNulty who will be teaching our classes of Authentic Japanese Baking. Motoko will be introducing the skills and techniques to make t to make traditional and modern Japanese breads. These classes will guide the beginner and also expand the skills and knowledge of more accomplished bakers. All made according to the Happy Sky policy of being “Free from artificial ingredients”. We want you to learn to make naturally wonderful breads.

 

 The course of lessons will give you a full understanding of the techniques used to produce great Japanese breads. Many different types of breads will be learnt, traditional ones such as Melon-Pan, An Pan, Shoku-Pan and favourites like the Cheese Sausage Bun. You will learn in a friendly environment with the experienced tutoring bakery chef. The course allows you to learn hands-on by producing your own lovely breads whilst asking lots of questions as you go. Our Thai cookery course will teach you how to produce fantastic Thai dishes from our Thai cookery teacher Alisa. Alisa will show you how to make great tasting authentic Thai foods whilst following the policy of Happy Sky to be “Free from artificial ingredients”, everything is simply cooked using natural ingredients with outstanding tastes.

 

 We invite you to join us and celebrate great food made naturally and enjoy the wonderful tastes you will learn to produce.

Thai Cooking class

Come and join us for a very authentic Thai experience.  Working from scratch with no preservatives. Chef Alisa will show you how to create Thai dishes and explain every step of the way.  Learn and have fun in a very friendly environment.  Enjoy cooking together and indulge in this cultural experience.  Come with your friends or by yourself and make some new friends, either way, you will have fun.

 

Each classes are 3 hour long with maximum of 6 students. 

 

Basic Thai 1:   Pork Satay – Thai grilled pork on skewers

                          Yum Woon Sen – Bean-thread vermicelli salad with prawn & minced pork

                          Green Curry Chicken

 

Basic Thai 2:   Larb Pork– Eastern Thai style salad with minced meat

                          Pad Thai Chicken – Classic rice noodle dish 

                          Massaman Curry Chicken -   Dubbed ‘King of Curry’

 

Basic Thai 3:  Tom Kha Gai – Famous coconut soup with chicken

                         Pad Kee Mow Beef – Literally ‘Drunken noodles’ spicy rice noodle dish

                         Grilled Pork Salad – Lemongrass marinade with honey in classic eastern Thai style salad
